| Please note: Unless otherwise indicated, the following pieces are NOT available for ordering. They are shown here simply to display the work I have done and the variety of different breeds I have painted in the past. Some are one-of-a-kind pieces, others were made by a local woodworker who is no longer in business. In some cases I may still have one or two of these pieces in stock that can be ordered. If this is the case it will be mentioned in the description. |

| A friend of mine gave me
this table, and I used it as the Best of Breed trophy for the 1999 Bearded
Collie Club of Canada National Specialty, incorporating the BB ribbon in
the scene.

This serving tray was the Best of Breed trophy at the 1994 Clumber Spaniel Club of America National Specialty. The little puppy in the painting is one of my own Clumbers, Thomas, when he was just a baby! |

| Above is a 'cabinet door' turned
into a painting. I was asked to donate something for an auction in 1994, to raise
money in support of the Best Friends/Meilleur Amis organization, so I did
this piece featuring a puppy of each breed depicted in the organization's
logo. A close-up of this piece can be seen on the Wyndian
home page.
Below, a similar item, the same basic piece as above but slightly larger and with 6 pegs added to function as a leash holder. |

This handpainted ceramic tile was done with special paints designed to adhere to the slick surface. It is varnished for protection and is quite durable, however it is not kiln fired so the design is susceptible to scratches and other damage, and it should not be used as a trivet. It measures 6" square is shown framed in a lovely oak frame. These tiles are still available, however I no longer have a local supplier for the frames. I have been experimenting a bit with painting bisque tiles with glazes and underglazes and having them fired, and they may become a regular product in the future. |

This is a large treasure box which was ordered by someone as a gift for a friend who was a Shar Pei breeder and had recently lost one of her dogs. The lid features a custom portrait of two of the owner's dogs done from a photo, and the front was my own composition based on the purchaser's requests - she wanted a scene with a couple of puppies and a Best In Show ribbon as the friend had the first BIS Shar Pei bitch in Canada, and she also wanted an adult Shar Pei, along with an old German Shepherd lying down, as her friend also had an elderly GSD. Below are close-up photos of the lid and front. |

A number of years ago a friend started a small business selling dog books at shows. She wanted a sign for her booth, so she asked me to create a design and paint one for her. She is a long time breeder of Newfs (and is particularly fond of the Landseers) and has done carting with several of her dogs, and also breeds Cairn Terriers, so we wanted those things to be reflected in the design. She also had an aging tabby cat she asked me to include in the design as well. I'm proud to say she was VERY pleased with the final result and receives many compliments on it as it is displayed in her booth. |

Here is another sign, this time a custom order for Bea Sawka, of Classical Bearded Collies and Ragdoll cats. She wanted her 3 most well known Beardies featured - Gidget, Harrison, and Burton, as well as a few Ragdoll cats. |

| Pencil Holders - 3 3/4" x 3
3/4" x 4 1/2" tall. This piece (and the Scottish Terrier pencil
holder on the Items For Sale page were done as
a bit of an 'experiment' to see how they would turn out. The tartan
pattern is completely handpainted and flows around all 4 sides.
These pencil holders are still available, however not with the tartan pattern since it was just too much work! I plan to try painting some other pieces with a tartan pattern, just not something that has 4 sides! These are available either painted with a headstudy in an oval against a solid coloured or speckled background, or with a full scene painted around all 4 sides and one adult and one pup on two of the sides. Price is $45. |
